Customer Reviews
Average Rating
I bought this recently and it is a very good binocular for the price. I was skeptical of the "Sports Auto-Focus" design, but it does work as described. Once you have it set correctly for your eyes everything is in good focus from about 60-70 feet out to infinity. The specifications say that the close focus is down to 15 feet; this is also accurate but impractical - you would literally have to adjust the individual eye pieces to focus on something that close (by which time it will have flown away). That said this is a very good binocular for wildlife viewing at a distance. Don't buy it for looking at butterflies 20 feet away or warblers at 40 feet. This will be great for viewing ducks, shorebirds, migrating raptors from distances of 70 feet and up. I bought it for astronomy and it is a great low power tool at a good price.
