It is fully waterproof and nitrogen filled to prevent internal fogging so you won't have a fogging problem when quickly move from one temperature environment to another. The scope if fully clad in a rubber armoring that will withstand years of demanding field use, and features an integral sunshade designed to stop any chance of optical glare. All of Swarovski's eyepieces feature generous eye relief and twist up/down eyecups making them ideal for any user, including folks that wear glasses. The scope is designed to attach to either of the two most common tripod threads, one quarter and one eight inch.
