This combo package includes the special Kowa 25X Long Eye Relief Eyepiece and is offered by us primarily for shooting applications. Eyepieces that have extended eye reliefs allow shooters to see thru the scope without fully placing the eye against the eyepiece. Many shooters find this extra "eye standoff" to be very convenient when they want to quickly glace thru the scope to determine shot placement. The Kowa 25X LER has a full 32mm of eye relief, the longest we know of, and is the eyepiece of choice for such applications.
