The AGM TaipanV2 15-256 Thermal Monocular is engineered for users who need extended detection range and enhanced identification capability in a compact handheld thermal optic. Equipped with a 256x192 resolution, 12-micron VOx thermal detector and sub-35mK sensitivity, this thermal monocular produces sharp thermal contrast and reliable heat signature detection in demanding conditions. The 15mm F/1.0 objective lens increases reach, providing detection distances up to 750 meters while maintaining smooth 50 Hz image performance. With a 2x base magnification and up to 17.5x digital zoom, the TaipanV2 15-256 is well-suited for predator hunting, property monitoring, search and rescue, and nighttime wildlife observation. The 1280×960 LCOS display offers a comfortable viewing experience, while advanced image processing, hot tracking, picture-in-picture, and multiple color palettes allow users to tailor performance to their environment. Built-in video and audio recording with 16GB of storage makes capturing thermal footage simple, and integrated Wi-Fi connectivity allows pairing with the AGM Connect App. Powered by a removable rechargeable 18650 battery system delivering up to 7 hours of runtime, the TaipanV2 15-256 also includes a tilt sensor that automatically powers off the display to preserve battery life. IP67 waterproof protection and durable rubberized housing ensure reliability in rugged outdoor conditions.
