The Aimpoint PRO (Patrol Rifle Optic) 12841 was designed from the ground up by military and law enforcement professionals to offer the American tactical shooter one of the best high-end red dot sights on the market. This sight comes complete with everything you need including the battle proven QRP2 mount that is as durable as it is easy to use. This Aimpoint mount allows the Aimpoint PRO to be attached and dis-attached in seconds and features a torque limiting feature that makes over tightening virtually impossible, this mount is one of our favorite Aimpoint innovations. Out of the box, the height of the Aimpoint Pro is optimized for use on AR15 and M4 style weapons offering excellent shooting position and great co-witness with iron sights if you should have them. The LED illumination technology on the PRO is the patented Aimpoint ACET (Advanced Circuit Efficiency Technology) that makes the surprise of a dead battery virtually a thing of the past. This illumination system so efficiently uses battery energy that the red dot sight can always be left in the illumination on the position as it will run for 30,000 hours, over three years, before a replacement is required. The red dot is compatible with all generations of night vision gear offering four-night vision low brightness settings and six daylight intensity settings, the final being extra bright. It sight includes flip-up lens style covers as standard dressing and it's also threaded to for the Aimpoint ARD (Anti Reflective Device) if you should want to add one of these to your PRO.
