Description
" The GAP Mount" This mount was designed from George Gardner of GA Precision.
This mount was specifically designed to have an extra low height. Due to the low height this mount is not compatible with: S&B PMII 3-20 and 5-25, the Kahles k624i, or Vortex Razor as the erector housings will contact the bridge between the rings.
This unique mount also features an extra front clamping screw allowing the SP-4011 to be mounted partly forward - in a cantilever position.
This Cantilever feature is useful on AR style rifles and rifles with integrated Picatinny rails like Defiance, Surgeon and Impact, where the rail may not be not long enough to obtain the proper eye-relief with some scopes.
